Precautions for installation

 1. Check the relevant surfaces of the piston, cylinder barrel and the installation guide sleeve to ensure that they are clean, free of burrs and edges. Before installing the hydraulic seals, check whether the journal surface is too rough and has scars, especially long scars along the axial direction. If the journal surface is too rough, it is easy to damage the oil seal and its sealing performance. If the journal surface is not properly disassembled and assembled, resulting in serious blunt scars, the lip of the hydraulic seal will not fit tightly with the journal surface, causing oil leakage.

 2. To prevent the hydraulic seals from being stretched, deformed or scratched, special installation tools must be used. The installation tools shall be smooth, free of edges and sharp corners to ensure that the seals will not be damaged in any form during installation.

 3. Whether installed vertically or horizontally, the concentricity between the piston and the cylinder barrel shall be maintained. Excessive eccentricity may damage the seals.

 4. During installation, a small amount of grease can be applied to the sealing elements and relevant surfaces of the cylinder barrel to facilitate installation. However, no residual grease is allowed between rubber elastomer and sliding seal ring, otherwise the sealing performance will be affected.
