Seals are materials or parts that prevent fluid or solid particles from leaking from adjacent joint surfaces and prevent external impurities such as dust and moisture from invading the internal parts of machinery and equipment. The room temperature of seals should be below 30 ℃ to avoid high temperature aging. The following describes the requirements for the installation of the lower seal.
1. Before assembly, carefully check the size and surface roughness of the seal, and no axial scar is allowed on the lip.
2. During assembly, the sealing element surface shall be coated with lubricating oil. During press in assembly, the sealing element and housing hole shall be aligned, and the sealing element lip shall face the direction of generating pressure.
3. When mechanical seals are used, it must be ensured that the contact surfaces of the moving and stationary rings are free of scars and cleaned.
4. The main shaft installation seal of the seal shall be free of rust stains. It shall be kept clean during assembly and shall not be directly knocked with metal tools.
